Alternative Roots Farm

Certified organic farm offering CSA, apples, farmers' market sales, pastured pork and eggs.
Our CSA services the New Ulm and Madelia area; in 2017 we will be offering 28 CSA and 12 Farm Shares. Our apples are also organic and we have over 20 different varieties - heirlooms and old UMN varieties - in our mature orchard; in our young orchard we have over 30 different varieties, primarily focused on heirloom stock.

Our livestock is raised on a small scale, while not organic they are raised out of doors and on non-GMO feed. We sell whole and half hogs 1-2 times per year, as well as free-ranged, tasty eggs to our local customers.
