| RC&D, short for Resource Conservation and Development, is a program that involves local people in identifying and solving human, economic, and environmental needs in their communities. RC&D is action directed at accomplishing what is planned and agreed to by communities and government agencies working together. The RC&D Program can probably best be described as a Local - Federal Partnership. Local needs are identified and brought to the Prairie Country RC&D Council and the United States Department of Agriculture for assistance. Assistance is provided by many public and private sources under the direction of local leaders. | |
